The Pacific Academy of Homeopathy has one of the longest running homeopathic schools in the country. We offer a comprehensive 3-year homeopathy program, offering a thorough training in all aspects of homeopathic thinking and practice. Students are prepared for the national certification exam by the Council for Homeopathic Certification so they can join the homeopathic community as a professionally trained and certified homeopath. We opened our doors in 1985, with the formal program beginning in 1989, consistently graduating professional homeopaths and maintaining our position at the center of the homeopathic community in the Bay Area. Our graduates are some of today's most respected homeopaths, and we are at the forefront of the resurgence of homeopathy in North America.

Our Program & Faculty
The Pacific Academy offers a complete program of study, integrating experiental training with the best of classical homeopathic theory and practice. The academy encourages students to think for themselves and to balance the foundations of the homeopathic tradition within the context of 21st century thinking. Much focus is placed on the student's own developmental process, based on the theory that we learn best by doing. This emphasis is highlighted in the clinical and supervision programs the academy offers.
The Pacific Academy offers a thorough clinical education. We established the very first school-operated community clinics, which continue to offer training to our students. We currently have clinics in San Francisco and Berkeley.
Our Faculty is one of the most experienced and respected group of teachers in the country. The school's guest lecturers represent a diverse cross-section of the homeopathic profession, and together with core faculty, provide a rigorous and intellectually challenging education.
Certification & Professionalism
The Pacific Academy is the only Bay Area school which directly trains students toward certification by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, whose certification is the standard for today’s professional homeopath (CCH). The Council for Homeopathic Certification is the largest and most respected certification organization in North America.
The Pacific Academy is a founding member of the North American Network of Homeopathic Educators. NANHE, a collective group of homeopathic educators, meets annually to explore issues of standards and professionalism in homeopathic education.
